Ashley

Season 1 - Episode 2

Bernard squeezes his grip tight as he trains his hands for prolonged strangulation. He role-plays with a stolen mannequin head, trying out a sleeper hold and other poses as he fools around training himself. As he scrolls online, he comes across an up-and-coming social media influencer who just moved in to a new apartment nearby. Foolishly, the young woman has posted a photo which reveals her address and location. Excitement runs thru Bernard as his mind races with possibilities.

Ashley enjoys her new apartment and photographs numerous selfies while she sets up her space. Trying out variety of expressions from cute to silly as she takes pictures for content to post. As Ashley goes to change outfits, her closet door creeps open partway, revealing a home intruder in a ski mask and vinyl gloves. Ashley undresses and puts on her next outfit without any idea that she is being watched. She snaps some selfies in her red top and flower skirt, taking some in the mirror before sitting down on the bed and taking a few more.

As Ashley is distracted in her selfies, Bernard quietly pushes open the closet door and creeps slowly out towards the unsuspecting young woman. As Ashley snaps some selfies, Bernard appears in the camera behind her creeping up slowly. Ashley is shocked at the sudden intrusion and drops the phone mid-selfie! Bernard corners the frightened girl in the corner as she raises her hands defensively, pleading to be left alone. He gets in close then wraps his gloved hands tight around her delicate neck. Ashley cries out in shock as the sudden pressure overtakes her. Well outside of her weight class, Ashley can do little but try to squirm her way free from the murderous grip. Bernard follows her moves closely and pushes her hard into the corner of the room next to her photo board. Ashley fights against the grip, kicking and clawing at her masked attacker. He pushes her towards the bathroom, throttling her relentlessly, shaking her back and forth like a wild animal. Ashley gasps for air, clawing at her throat, trying desperately to survive.

Bernard swings the helpless young woman back against the wall, pushing with all of his might and then suddenly hoisting Ashley off the ground, her socked feet dangling in the air as the killer throat lifts his victim up above his own head. The intense pressure overwhelms Ashley as she looks pleadingly into her murderer's eyes, begging for the agony to end. Bernard hangs on tight, squeezing her throat with all his might as she hovers up above the ground. He hands on until her eyes grow tired and her head dips forward, the fight gradually leaving her body. He lets her fall towards the ground as he guides her down with hand around her neck. Her feet meet the floor and she managed to catch a quick breath, regaining some of the fight. Bernard quickly transitions behind her, putting her in a rear choke hold and holding on tight. Ashley's face goes wide at the pressure, her eyes bulging at the pressure. She squeals and wiggles to get free, but soon she is knocked out unconscious. Bernard guides her limp body to the ground and lets her fall on her side.

He hoists up Ashley from the floor and tosses her knocked out body on the bed. He enjoys checking her out, then picks up her unlocked phone to continue taking photos of the girl. He leans in close with the camera, playing with Ashley's face and giving her new expressions for the camera. After some photos, he puts the phone down and takes out a home-made ligature to finish her off. He wraps the cord around her neck a few times then taps her on the face to speed up her wake up. Ashley regains some consciousness just in time to see what is happening to her and cry out in terror. Bernard quiets her by pulling the ligature tight and pinning her down with his weight. Ashley squirms under the pressure, her feet kicking the air and her hands clutching at the killing force. She shakes back and forth on the bed as she is strangled relentlessly. Twisting and turning in an attempt to get away, the killer follows his victims every movement. Drool spills out of the dying girls mouth onto the bed as Bernard pulls the cord constricting tight around her neck. After a time Ashley's fight leaves her body and she goes limp on the bed dead with her eyes open. Bernard takes some more photos of the corpse with the victim's phone and poses her on the bed.

Bernard drives through the city with a dead girl in the trunk. He stays casual, calm and collected as he takes Ashley's dead body to dump out in her final resting spot. He carries the body out into a remote forest and leaves her in the brush. Unable to resist at this peaceful spot, Bernard carries Ashley's corpse around the area posing her in a few spots and cozying up close to her next to the river. He leaves some flowers with the body in its final resting spot.
